Communications infrastructure firm Arqiva has appointed Adrian Twyning as its new chief of operations.
Twyning will report to CEO Paul Donovan and will also be a member of the company’s executive committee.
The appointment follows a restructure for the transmission company; last October Arqiva sold its telecoms business to Cellnex for £2 billion and this year it has withdrawn as a shareholder from DTT platform Freeview.
Before joining Twyning, Adrian held senior positions at DixonsCarphone and British Gas. He is a lawyer by background and his earlier career included roles in the NHS and British Army, where he served overseas.
