The international provider of digital media services and content licensing ODMedia is to open a new office in France. Based in Paris, it will be headed by the industry veteran Vladimir Gasic.
Commenting on the development, Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia, said: “With the growing demand from content owners in need of assistance in distributing technically and/or commercially to all VOD platforms, we feel it’s time for us to open an office in France.
“We are happy to welcome Vladimir to the ODMedia team. He is a true TV veteran and is exactly what we need to fuel all of the exciting plans we have in the works for the French market”.
Gasic has 20 years of experience in TV distribution and worked with major companies including TF1 International, Eurosport, Amaury Sport Organisation, and Sport5 developing their businesses in the EMEA region. In 2006, he ventured out on his own representing a portfolio of content owners and helping them manage pay-TV offers and OTT platforms and has launched various local versions of international brands.
Gasic added: “I’ve been watching ODMedia for a while. They are a powerhouse in the digital arena and naturally, I jumped at the chance to join the company. I’m excited to dive in and show our French clients everything we can do for them”.
ODMedia has its headquarters in the Netherlands and offices in Spain, Nordics, Germany, the UK, South Africa, Poland and Belgium. It has preferred partner status with – amongst others – Apple, Google Play, Amazon, and YouTube.
