Around 470,000 TV customers in Norway will lose access to channels including TV3, V4 and TV6 after the channels’ owners NENT failed to agree a new carriage agreement.
The telco said it was prepared for further co-operation and was willing to discuss a new partnership, should NENT wish to do so.
All customers are being given an additional ’25 points’ in March that can be spent on a selection of the remaining linear and streaming channels.
“-We still hope to find a fast and good solution with NENT, so that together we can continue to create good viewing experiences in the future to the delight of all customers and viewers. Our door is open and we sit down at any time to discuss the way forward,” said head of residential Pål Rune Kaalen.
Last week NENT concluded a new agreement with Norwegian DTT platform NENT.
