The Bulgarian incumbent Vivacom has acquired the cable operator N3 for an undisclosed fee.
N3 is based in the city of Plovdiv and has offered digital TV and broadband internet services to its clients for a number of years. Its infrastructure includes a latest generation fibre-optic network.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close this year.
Capital reports that Vivacom has embarked on an acquisition spree.
It bought the Sofia-based TV and internet providers Net1 and ComNet Sofia two weeks ago and another with for a regional operator is close to being finalised.
N3 is operated by a company named Digital Cable TV and posted BGN7.1 million (€3.6 million) in revenues and a profit of BGN1 million in 2019.
It also had 26,000 TV and 4,200 internet subscribers in the same year.
