Sky Italia has written to the Italian football league expressing concern over an agreement between fellow bidders DAZN and Telecom Italia Media (TIM).
Sky is locked in a battle with the streaming service to win Serie A rights for the next three seasons. According to Reuters, DAZN is currently leading the race.
Under the agreement, TIM will cover the cost of 40% of the annual cost of the rights, as well as providing commercial and technical support.
In a letter obtained by the news agency, Sky says that TIM is getting preferential treatment from DAZN, despite it being the incumbent in the Italian market for broadband delivery.
Sky says its important that Serie A matches are distributed across all platforms and the broadest number of devices.
