TVN Discovery’s on demand platform Player.pl is now a completely subscription-based service.
Wirtualne Media reports that it now includes a package that costs PLN 4 a month and contains all Player content, including original productions, discovery+, content from other providers including Viacom and pre-released content from TVN Discovery.
Meanwhile, Player’s two existing packages have been renamed Player and Player + TV.
While the new package includes commercials, Player and Player+ TV do not and cost PLN15 and PLN30 a month respectively, and half that amount for the first month.
The change means that Player.pl no longer offers viewers any content free of charge.
