Svetlana Kirsanova has been appointed the executive VP for retail business at VimpelCom’s Beeline.
Reporting directly to Alexander Torbakhov, VimpelCom’s general director, she will be responsible for the implementation of the company’s commercial strategy in the mass market, distribution, digital transformation of products and channels, strategic projects. She will also manage all marketing, brand, sales and service departments in the mass market and become a member of the company’s board.
Commenting on the appointment, Torbakhov said: “The company faces the task of transforming customer experience in terms of introducing new, more personalised products, full-fledged omnichannel service, digitalisation of contacts with customers and partners. Svetlana’s high expertise meets these tasks”.
Kirsanova has many years of experience in creating and implementing digital retail products and innovative solutions in the mass market. Prior to joining Beeline, she held various management positions at Sberbank for seven years. Previously, she worked for Russian Standard Bank, Credit Europe Bank, Dexia Bank, Nordea Bank and Citibank.
