Discovery+, the recently launched ‘real life’ streaming service is now available on Samsung Smart TVs and Amazon Fire TV devices in the UK & Ireland.
It follows its November launch on Sky Q; launches on Roku and for Vodafone mobile customers are also planned along with additional devices.
“discovery+ has been incredibly well received since its launch in the UK and Ireland late last year, with local Originals and global franchises driving uptake,” said “James Gibbons, EVP, GM UK & Nordics. “Today we’re pleased to deliver on our promise of bringing discovery+ to more consumers thanks to best-in-class providers like Amazon and Samsung.”

On Fire TV it is available as an app and can be downloaded through the AppStore or by simply saying “Alexa, open discovery+”.
Both launches will benefit from high profile marketing campaigns around the Olympic Games in Tokyo this Summer.
