Discovery expands Telekom Srbija partnership

Telekom Srbija Group will continue to offer Discovery’s flagship channels while also adding new ones.

Under the terms of an expanded strategic partnership between the two parties, customers of Telekom Srbija’s IPTV and DTH platform and its newly acquired cable operators in Serbia under the brand name Moja Supernova, as well as Telekom Srbija’s sister companies in Mtel Bosnia and Mtel Doo Montenegro, will be able to receive Discovery Channel, TLC, Eurosport, ID, Travel Channel, Food Network. In addition, they will for the first time be able to see such channels as Home and Garden TV (HGTV).

Commenting on the development, Kenechi Belusevic, sr. distribution & business development director, Discovery, said: “We are excited to announce our expanded partnership with Telekom Serbia Group, especially it’s covering as a first the group’s companies from Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro, thus allowing us to bring to more TV viewers Discovery’s massive content offering covering adventure, lifestyle, sports. Apart from our channels that have become fans’ favourites along the years, HGTV, the leader of the home and garden content in Discovery’s portfolio, will become soon extremely popular for Telekom Srbija subscribers too, considering it’s a time when people are celebrating more and more the spirit of home”.

Vladimir Lucic, CEO Telekom Serbia Group of companies, added: “The expansion of cooperation with Discovery will bring to the homes of our customers the TV channels and contents enjoyed by millions of viewers worldwide. We are convinced that this is yet another partnership that will reinforce our position of regional leader in the provision of TV services and that all our customers will find the programmes that suit their interests in our rich TV offer”.
