In the newly created position, the 51-year-old and his team will be responsible for the expansion of the content partner strategy and the content proposition for network operators. As a member of the management team, Bichlmeir reports directly to CEO Hans Kühberger.

He has a large network in the industry, knows the side of the network operator and the side of the content provider well. Under his leadership, we will expand our content proposition with channel and foreign language packages, pay-TV, video-ondemand, apps and catch-up TV services for our customers. Our goal is to offer providers a wide variety of content from a single source,” said Kühberger.
Bichlmeir was previously Director Distribution & Commercial Strategy at Discovery Networks Germany where he was responsible for the expansion of the free-TV, pay-TV and direct-to-consumer business. Before that, he worked for Munich-based telecommunications company M-net, Kirch Group and Capgemini.
