Prima recruits senior executives

February 1, 2021 11.57 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Czech national commercial broadcaster FTV Prima has announced two changes in its senior management.

They see Ladislav Musil (pictured) replace Petr Babulik at CFO and Lukas Kubat take over as business development director from Martin Cepek.

Musil has extensive experience in managing the financial agenda and holding other top positions at several companies including those belong to the GES Group, of which Prima is part, Czech Radio and Tatra Koprivnice. Babulik left his position at the end of January following 20 years with the GES Group.
Meanwhile, Kubat will be assuming his new position following Cepek’s departure at the end of March. He began his career at Ernst & Young and Deloitte and has spent the last 10 years at CME, most recently as business development director.

Commenting on the appointments, Prima’s CEO Martin Singer said: “I would like to thank both Peter and Martin for their many years in the Prima group. They have come a long way with us and helped us start the transformation of the Prima group into a modern media house. I believe that the new reinforcements – Ladislav Musil and Lukas Kubat – will bring new experience to our team and, as seasoned managers, will contribute to fulfilling our long-term vision to become innovative leaders in the Czech media market”.
