Former Verimatrix president Steve Oetegenn has joined the Board of Amino Technologies.
Oetegenn, who headed the security company between 2014 and 2020, becomes a non-executive director at the set-top turned software company. Towards the end of his time at Verimatrix the company was sold to Inside Secure for $145 million.
“Amino Technologies is at a pivotal moment in its development as it pursues software-led growth to address the convergence of the Pay TV and streaming markets. Amino has an ambitious and innovative team with a great culture that I am excited to become a part of,” said Oetegenn.

Oetegenn was previously COO of digital watermarking firm MediaSec Technologies and COO of Argus Systems Group, a provider of Internet server security software.
