United Group’s newly named Telemach Hrvatska has announced far-reaching changes to its operations in the country.
They have already seen the recruitment of 500 new employees since the start of the year and the introduction of a new look and identity at its outlets that combines state-of-the art technology and modern design.
These are already in place in Zagreb, Samobor and Dakovo and will be rolled out to the rests of the country.
There will also be redesigns for United Group’s TV channels Sport Klub, N1 and Doma TV and portal dnevnik.hr.
All told, Telemach Croatia plans to invest €230 million in the country, with €130 million being allocated to modernising its mobile network and €100 million on constructing a fibre network that will offer broadband at up to 10 Gbps.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, United Group completed the acquisition of Tele2 Croatia in a deal worth €220 million in March last year.
United Group subsequently announced its plans for Telemach Hrvatska in November.
