France 24 will cease broadcasting over DTT in Île-de-France, north-central France.
The news channel has been broadcast on TNT in the region since 2014, but is withdrawing due to budget issues.
Its removal is expected to save some €250,000 a year, according to management sources quoted by business publication Strategies.
France 24 is also plans to close 30 positions through a voluntary redundancy programme and is revising distribution contracts in the United States and Scandinavia.
