Discovery+ is to be available on Amazon Fire TV, Apple, Google, Microsoft, the Roku Platform and Samsung Smart TVs as part of its US launch.
The non-fiction streaming service is now live in the United States following launches in the UK and Europe.
Direct-to-consumer distribution will be on Amazon’s Fire TV streaming devices, Fire TV Edition smart TVs and later via Prime Video Channels; on Apple, Discovery+ will be available via iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV, it’s fully integrated with the Apple TV’s app; Google devices and platforms include Android TV OS devices, Google Chromecast and integrated devices; Microsoft Xbox One and Series S/X devices; The Roku platform and 2017 and newer Samsung Smart TVs.
Previously, Discovery has announced a US partnership with Verizon.

Discovery+ features more than 55,000 episodes of current and classic shows from Discovery’s portfolio of networks, including HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, OWN, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and the forthcoming Magnolia Network. The service also offers top non-fiction content from A&E, The History Channel and Lifetime, as well as the definitive offering of nature and environmental programming, including exclusive streaming access to BBC natural history programming.
