Brexit has brought an end to UK travellers being able to view their pay-TV subscriptions when overseas.

Following the completion of the transition period on December 31st, anyone trying to access a Sky UK subscription in a country of the European Union has been presented with a message advising them that viewing is no longer possible.
The move effects any UK-based pay-TV service including BT, Virgin, Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Sky is advising subscribers that they should download content before they travel, though with restrictions in place to cover the coronavirus pandemic, this is likely to be at lower levels for the next few months.
The EU’s portability regulation was brought in on April 1, 2018 and followed the abolition of roaming charges the previous year.
Brexit has also meant changes to the availability of some channels and where they are licensed (see separate stories).
