The Ukrainian OTT service Sweet.TV has been made available on Intercity and Intercity+ trains in the country.
This follows an agreement between Sweet.TV and state-owned Ukrainian Railways, and during a test period the service will be made available free of charge to passengers.
Sweet.TV says that it is the first Ukrainian online cinema to enter into direct contracts with Hollywood studios Disney, Paramount, Universal, Sony, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and others, and create exclusive dubbing and dubbing of cult films and trailers in the state language. It directly cooperates with leading film studios that produce more than 90% of the world’s best cinema. This allows the service to be among the first to give viewers access to the world’s top premieres.
Sweet.TV dubs films into Ukrainian at its own expense and plans to complete work on 70 films and 500 trailers by the end of the year.
