A1 Telekom Austria Group has signed entered into a partnership with Ultra 4K Extreme LLC for the European market.
Starting from December 21, A1 Wholesale Broadcasting will deliver technical services to the international TV channel Ultra 4K Extreme, which offers programmes in UHD quality in both English and Russian. The channel is already available for in the territories covered by Eutelsat 16A satellite at 16 degrees East.
Commenting on the development, Elena Petrova, head of A1 Wholesale Broadcasting, said: “We are pleased to start this important cooperation and support the launch of this exciting UHD channel. We are proud to be selected as the main technical partner of Ultra 4K Extreme channel delivering their interesting content to cable and IPTV operators in Europe over our direct2home platform operated in Aflenz teleport, Austria.
