Canal Digitaal adds Canal+ Series VOD in The Netherlands

December 10, 2020 11.44 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Dutch pay-TV operator Canal Digitaal, part of the M7 Group, has started offering Canal+ Series, a new VOD offer focusing on series produced in Europe.

Customers can access the programmes over the set-top box as well as the apps for connected TVs and mobile devices, at no extra charge.

The VOD platform offers series from its parent company Canal Plus, as well as the BBC and Dutch programmes. Titles include the French political thriller Spiral, BBC series The Five, and Als de dijken breken and Heer & Meester from the Netherlands. Additional seasons and titles will be added regularly.

Canal+ Series is part of the ‘Vol’ and ‘Bomvol’ TV packages, which give customers access to the TV app. Customers with a satellite dish need to have the ‘Rijk’ or ‘Royaal’ packages to have the service included free. The providers Online.nl, Tweak and Freedom Internet which use the Canal Digitaal IPTV platform also offer Canal+ Series.
