The new Virgin TV 360 system is now available to customers in the UK bringing new features including Voice Search and Control, Profiles, a more intuitive user interface and a new Mini box.
The box, versions of which have already been released to Liberty customers on the European continent will be made available to new customers and those already subscribing to the £89 a month Ultimate Oomph bundle that combines TV, broadband and mobile.
A new remote control makes it possible to discover content, open apps, pause and skip forward or back; startover is available on all the major channels and lets customers return to the start of a show; Profiles, includes a shared family profile, and a revamped Virgin TV Go app allows viewing to be continued the go via mobile phones and tablets.
A new mini box also allows content to be distributed across the house.
