Maksim Shaskolsky has been appointed the head of Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
He replaces Igor Artemiev, who held the position from 2004 and has now become assistant to the chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
Prior to taking up his new post, Shaskolsky was the vice-governor of St. Petersburg and was responsible for resolving issues in the field of energy and tariff regulation.
