Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat is on track to match if not improve on last year’s financial performance despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
The latest results published by the company show that its revenues in Q3 amounted to PLN3,003.5 million (€669 million), compared to PLN2,892.4 million in the same period last year.
Its YTD revenues were PLN8,714.7 million, while in 2019 as a whole they were PLN11,636.7 million.
Operating costs in Q3 were PLN2,494.8 million, compared to PLN2,436.8 million a year earlier and net profit PLN345 million (PLN236.5 million).
Cyfrowy Polsat ended Q3 with 5,010,376 contracted pay-TV subscribers, compared to 5,033,398 a year earlier.
Of these, 1,200,561 (1,180,891) were multiroom. ARPU for contracted services, which also include mobile telephony and internet, was PLN86.9 (PLN84.8) and churn 6.1% (6.8%).
