The Polish incumbent Orange Polska now has over 1 million TV customers.
According to its latest set of results, the company ended Q3 with a total of 1,001,000, up from 996,000 three months earlier. Of these, 575,000 were IPTV (554,000), and 425,000 (422,000) DTH, while 851,000 of the total were B2C convergent.
The company’s total fixed broadband customer base increased by 24,000 in Q3 and 2.8% year-on-year. This was strongly driven by fibre, adding 54,000 in Q3 (+40% year-on-year).
Orange Polska’s total revenues in Q3 amounted to PLN2,793 million (€606.3 million), down 2.7% on a year earlier.
EBITDA was PLN742 million (+0.4%) and net income PLN53 million (-76.1%).
