France’s M6 Group has posted ad revenues of €226.2 million in the third quarter, or 2.6% more than in the same period last year.
Of these, TV accounted for €188 million, a 3% increase on the third quarter of 2019. In its latest set of results, the company notes that excluding the negative base effect linked to the deconsolidation of iGraal (-€9.2 million), non-advertising revenues increased by 12%, driven by the integration of the Youth division and the increase in cinema distribution revenues.
In the third quarter, consolidated revenues amounted to €298.7 million, up 1.4% on a year earlier. Consolidated EBITDA reached €54 million, a significant increase of €19.8 million on a year earlier. However, the gains of the third quarter failed to erase the difficult first six months of the year.
Local reports say the company put into place a plan to save €100 million at the start of the crisis and 90% of this has already been achieved.
