The transition from the current DVB-T system to DVB-T2/h.265 will take place in Croatia from October 27 to November 12.
According to the regulator HAKOM, it will be undertaken on a digital region-by-region basis, starting with ‘D1’, which includes Osijek and Vukovar, in the north east of the country and concluding with ‘D9’, Dubrovnik-Neretva, the southernmost part of Croatia.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Croatia put back the transition to DVB-T2 earlier this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
