Major TV revamp for Antenna Hungária

October 21, 2020 09.44 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Hungarian national transmission company Antenna Hungária has announced it will change the names and brands of its TV services in November.

The move follows last month’s changes to its channel offer.

In a statement, the company says that in addition to mindig (‘Always’) TV, customers will be able to receive mindig TV Premium, which will replace MinDig TV Extra, and mindiGo TV, rather than mindig TV Go. The basic package minidig TV will continue to give customers access to 12 channels free of charge. It may also be supplemented with paid packages and switched to the mindig TV Premium service. The latter will now offer four packages, namely Basic, Entry, Family and Children.

In addition to 12 free channels, the Entry package will include the channels ATV, Bonum News TV, RTL?, Sláger TV and TV2 Comedy. Meanwhile, the Basic, Family and Kids packages will offer 28, 48 and 10 channels respectively. In addition to the Basic and Family packages, customers will be able to receive the Leisure package, featuring a range of educational, sports, film and adult channels.

Antenna Hungária also says that indoor internet-connected receivers allow for the reception of online TV channels in addition to terrestrial TV services.

Furthermore, its programme packages, with the exception of Entry, will be offered on a six and 12 month pre-paid basis in addition to a monthly fee.
