Stuart Cleary joins Zattoo as CCO for TV platform business

October 13, 2020 08.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Stuart Cleary has joined Zattoo as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the company’s TV platform business.

In this role Cleary will lead all sales, marketing, and client success teams, driving Zattoo’s TV-as-a-service business for TV operators across Europe. In order to continue on the growth path, Zattoo will invest heavily in its product portfolio, according to a statement.

Cleary joins Zattoo from Amazon Prime Video in London, where he was responsible for distribution of the Amazon Prime Video service on pay-TV platforms in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. During his four years at Amazon, he developed and led distribution partnerships with leading operators such as Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, and Virgin Media. Cleary also led negotiations on technology infrastructure partnerships to enable select Amazon Prime Video Channels services in Europe.

Prior to Amazon, Stuart held senior level business development, product marketing, and product management roles at Akamai Technologies, where he launched industry-shaping video streaming and analytics services. Before joining Akamai he worked with multiple start-up and growth stage tech companies in Silicon Valley, California in a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles.
