Key executives to leave TVN Group Discovery

October 13, 2020 10.50 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Maciej Maciejowski and Tomasz Marszall, responsible for digital and marketing respectively at Poland’s TVN Group Discovery, will leave their positions at the end of this month.

Commenting on the development, Katarzyna Kieli, president and MD of Discovery EMEA, said: “I would like to thank Maciek and Tomek for their significant contribution to the development of our company. I wish them many professional successes in the future”.

Maciejowski added: “The years of working at TVN have been extremely inspiring for me. It’s a great company and people I really want to thank. My career plans are taking a different path and I am looking forward to new digital challenges”.

Marshall said: “TVN has always been fantastic people who create the best television. I had the privilege of working with the most eminent in their profession. Today, as I continue my career path, I would like to thank you. Those who made me love TV and my team – wonderful people. I know that I could always count on their great amounts of creativity, commitment and support. I am proud of our joint projects and I know that there is more than one success ahead of you”.

The company is not planning to replace Maciejowski and Marszall. In the near future, the team responsible for the company’s digital operations will report directly to Katarzyna Kiela. Marcin Boglowski, head of the consumer insights & data team, will take over marketing.

Maciejowski has been associated with the company since 2004. For the last eight years he has been the director of the digital division and a member of the management boards of TVN and TVN Media.

Meanwhile, Marszall started working for the company in 2015. In 2015 – 2018 he was a member of the management board of TVN Media. From January 2019, he was a member of the board of TVN and director of marketing and communication.
