Gábor Gonda has been appointed the CEO of T-Systems Hungary and a member of Magyar Telekom’s top management, effective November 2.
He takes on his new position as the CEO of T-Systems with 21 years of professional and 15 years of senior management experience. He started his professional career at Compaq in 1999, after which he spent 17 years in various management positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Since 2012 he has been the MD of the Hungarian HP entity, and since 2018 he has also manages HP’s entire Central European operation.
Commenting on his appointment, Gonda said: “I am honoured and inspired by the challenge to manage Hungary’s leading ICT company: T-Systems is a successful company with an incredibly strong team of professionals and unique competences, so I am very happy that I can take an active role in its further development and growth”.
Tibor Rékasi, Magyar Telekom’s CEO, added: “Gábor brings extensive industry and international senior management experience to T-Systems. I am confident that Gábor’s knowledge, personality and approach will give the team a new impetus to serve our corporate and institutional customers with even better solutions and to embark on a growth path”.
