The management of Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat has initiated a revue into the potential sale of the telecom infrastructure belonging to its subsidiary Polsat Group.
This applies in particular to Polkomtel Infrastruktura, the owner of the passive and active layers of Polsat Group’s mobile telecom infrastructure.
In a statement it says that various strategic options will be considered in the planned review. These include the sale of 100% of shares in Polkomtel Infrastruktura; the sale of the entire or selected elements of Polkomtel Infrastruktura’s telecom infrastructure; conclusion of a strategic partnership or establishment of a joint venture with a strategic investor.
Cyfrowy Polsat adds that it plans to engage in talks with various parties interested in the above options as well as allow selected tenderers to conduct a due diligence process of Polkomtel Infrastruktura and/or its infrastructure.
It also says that Trigon Investment Banking & Wspólnicy and Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak will be, respectively, the financial and legal advisor in the process of reviewing strategic options.
