Paris-based Anne Cherel, a long serving member of Studiocanal’s sales management team, has been promoted from head of international sales (current movies) to EVP global sales & distribution.
She will oversee the international sales of TV series and feature films and report to CEO Anna Marsh.
Commenting on the promotion, Marsh said: “I am extremely proud to have such a dynamic executive representing our incredible – and growing– slate of TV series and feature films as well as our network of award-winning European production companies. It is so gratifying to see Anne lead this vital area of the business. Our highly sought-after content is in the best possible hands”.
Meanwhile, London-based Beatriz Campos, who joined the company in 2016, has been promoted from head of international sales (TV) to SVP global sales & production financing. She will implement and deploy a global commercial strategy for the international financing and distribution of Studiocanal TV productions and third-party opportunities.
Another strategic move in Paris will see Chloé Marquet promoted from SVP international sales to head of international film sales.
Campos, Marquet and Aska Yamaguchi, who was appointed head of international digital sales in 2017, will report into Cherel, who said: “I am thrilled to be working on such a prestigious feature film and television slate and, most of all, to do so with my highly respected and talented dream team in Beatriz, Chloe & Aska. Our presence in Paris and London is invaluable together with our global reach, and we very much look forward to driving our content forward supplying our partners with first class material”.
