The number of FTTH connections in Spain increased by 1.4 million in the year to April 30.
According to the latest data published by the regulator CNMC, in April alone the total increased by 41,400.
Meanwhile, the number of DSL connections fell by 1 million in the year to April 30.
As of the end of April there were a total of 10.5 million FTTH lines in the country.
The three main operators – Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) – accounted for 84.6% of all fixed broadband lines.
