Beeline expands subscription offer

September 16, 2020 11.39 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Russia’s Beeline has introduced a new subscription service within its Beeline TV (12+) offer.

It is part of the updated Kino+ TV package and already available free of charge to subscribers of specific Beeline packages in Moscow and other parts of the country. Otherwise it cost R79 (€0.89) a month to receive. The new service contains over 3,000 items of content, including films of various genres, popular TV series, educational programmes and animated series. It can be received on iOS and Android mobile devices, Beeline TV, BeeBox and Android TV set-top boxes, LG and Samsung TVs with smart TV function, as well as https://beeline.tv/.

Commenting on the new service, George Held, executive VP of digital and new business development at Beeline, said: “We strive to provide Beeline TV users with access to a wide range of diverse and interesting content, so that everyone can choose relevant content for themselves. The Kino + TV subscription is based on the analysis of the preferences of our customers, so it allows us to make a real home theater for the whole family out of Beeline TV”.

Beeline TV is a multi-platform service with the ability to watch up to 300 channels, including an archive of programs, as well as films from leading Hollywood and Russian film studios, including subscriptions to films and series from partners.

The new Beeline TV platform was launched in May 2018. Its key feature is OTT; the service can be used by a subscriber of any mobile and fixed operator. The monthly active audience of the updated Beeline TV exceeds 1 million users, and the aggregate monthly audience of Beeline TV, taking into account the previous versions of the IPTV service, is more than 2 million users.
