Studiocanal has added a new tagline to its brand, emphasising its link to Canal+.
While the original logo is being retained “A Canal+ Company” will be added underneath. The company said the signature was both a reminder of where Studiocanal has its roots and its strategic importance in the creation of content for the pay-TV group.
Canal’s increasing reliance on Studiocanal productions, includes Paddington, a third instalment of which is planned following its international success, and La Guerre des Mondes, a science fiction series that will return for a second season.
“Our new signature is a strong marker of Studiocanal’s development and creates a now visible bridge between Studiocanal and Canal+. Simple and effective, it is a successful exercise in evolution without renouncing our DNA and the values that make us successful”, explains Anna Marsh, managing director of Studiocanal.
This new logo will be available on all Studiocanal’s communication and promotional materials.
