SportsTribal chooses Stoneroos OTT NOW! solution

September 1, 2020 09.10 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

Stoneroos_SportsTribalSportsTribal has chosen the white-label OTT NOW! solution from Stoneroos for its launch in late 2020.

SportsTribal TV is a new free, sports streaming TV service representing a wide range of new and exciting 24/7 sport-based entertainment channels from around the world, all on one streaming service.

The decision by SportsTribal TV follows a large number of successful deployments of the OTT NOW! solution for companies like Swiss-based Sunrise, T-Mobile Netherlands, Delta and Caiway.

The Stoneroos suite of OTT NOW! apps are native build and available on all major platforms and devices. The OTT NOW! apps can be linked to existing or new infrastructures and video platforms. It is fully adaptable to 3th party player providers, DRM and to specific wishes for analytics and payment.

“We are very pleased that SportsTribal has chosen OTT NOW! for the roll-out of its 24/7 linear ad-supported streaming service. SportsTribal TV is a great example of where the OTT TV market is heading. The OTT NOW! products will help SportsTribal to extend audience reach, create the next generation TV experience and deliver a consistent UX across multiple platforms.” said Annelies Kaptein, CEO of Stoneroos.

“SportsTribal TV offers a wide range of 24/7 sports-based entertainment channels from around the world to the next generation of sports fans. Using the Stoneroos OTT NOW! solution we are able to quickly go to the market with future-proof apps. Initially SportsTribal will be available on mobile and web, followed by a roll-out across all major connected TV and streaming platforms in 2021.” added Frank Bowe, Founder & CEO, SportsTribal.
