Netflix is making it possible to view episodes of titles including Stranger Things and When They See Us without the need to sign up.
The streaming service is offering Netflix Original movies and the first episode of selected TV series via a computer or Android device. iOS browsers are not supported
“We’re looking at different marketing promotions to attract new members and give them a great Netflix experience,” Netflix said in a statement released to Broadband TV News.
All of the shows and films available for sampling will be the same globally, and only available on the Web.
It’s become routine for Netflix to trial services to a subset of its subscriber base, recently trying out a Shuffle Button. When pressed, the streaming service will randomly play content that it believes the user will like, based on what’s been viewed in the past.
