Zoltán Kaszás will leave T-Systems Hungary and the top management of the Magyar Telekom Group by mutual agreement on September 1.
His responsibilities will temporarily be taken over by Magyar Telekom’s CEO, Tibor Rékasi.
After having led the company’s IT Solutions Division, Kaszás assumed leadership of the largest company on Hungary’s IT and system integration market as acting CEO in January 2017 and was formally appointed to the CEO position in June 2017.
Commenting on the departure, Rékasi said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Zoltán for the work he has done in T-Systems and in Magyar Telekom’s top management, but also in the digitalisation of Hungary. It was under his leadership that T-Systems contributed to Hungary’s digitalisation through such important projects as the development of the first Hungarian artificial intelligence-based digital assistant, Vanda, the establishment of the first 5G campus network, the introduction of instant payment at several Hungarian banks and the launch of the National eHealth Infrastructure of Hungary. We wish him all the best with his future endeavours”.
