Although the Czech Republic’s three leading broadcasters Ceska Televize (CT), Nova and Prima have previously considered creating a joint video offer, the conditions for doing so are still not right.
Quoting iDnes, Digizone reports that instead are all three are focused on their own projects.
Prima, for instance, is preparing to launch a news channel while Nova is waiting to be taken over by the PPF Group and the launch of a new video service in 2021.
It adds that all three are currently satisfied with their own digital offers.
Nova, for instance, operates the portals Voyo and Nova Plus, while CT provides viewers with iVysilani.
Meanwhile, Prima is enjoying high viewing figures for its online content, with one series (Slunecna) seeing 450,000 plays per episode.
