Poland’s leading mobile operator Play has enhanced its TV content and Android Play Now TV Box.
Its programme offer consists of two packages, basic (50 channels) and extended (100 channels), costing PLN10 (€2.28) and PLN35 a month respectively for existing Play (telephony and/or internet) customers and PLN20 and PLN40 a month respectively for new customers.
All Play Now TV customers are now being offered Amazon Prime Video free of charge for six months and those also with an internet subscription HBO Go for up to 12 months. Play has also introduced an improved version of its TV Box, with such new features as double the previous flash memory (now 16 GB) and a quad-core processor.
The TV Box can be connected to cable or DTT in order to increase the number of channels.
In the latter case, it is prepared for the change to the DVB-T2 standard.
