Netflix has entered into its first partnership with a mobile operator in the Czech Republic.
The SVOD service is now being offered to Vodafone TV customers in three different subscription packages: Basic, on a single device for CZK199 (€7.61) a month; Standard, two devices, in HD, for CZK259 a month; and Premium, four devices, not only in HD but also 4K, for CZK319 a month. All are included in a single Vodafone invoice.
Commenting on the development, Quique Vivas, Vodafone Czech Republic’s VP for non-corporate customers, said: “Until now, our television offer contained over 130 channels, a rich video library. Now ot is further strengthening its position. Thanks to our partnership with Netflix, customers get another huge amount of first-class content – all in one place. With this step, Vodafone TV strengthens its position as the best entertainment platform for families. It is worth mentioning that the Vodafone Group is already the second largest provider of pay-TV in Europe”.
