The Turkish operator Turkcell has signed a loan package of €500 million with China Development Bank.
According to the company, it can be utilised in both Euro and Renminbi terms for financing Turkcell’s infrastructure investments in the next three years.
Turkcell adds that the respective loan has a maturity of eight years and a grace period of three years.
It will be repaid in the proceeding five years after the three-year grace period (availability period) in accordance with a repayment schedule.
Local reports say that Turkcell and the bank signed an MoU for the loan last December.
