The Russian telco Rostelecom ended the second quarter with 10.7 million pay-TV subscribers, or 4% more than in the same period last year.
Of these, 5.8 million (+7%) received IPTV services.
Pay-TV (B2C) ARPU was unchanged at R248 (€2.87), while that for IPTV fell by 2% to R309.
Rostelecom also had a total of 13.4 million subscribers to its fixed-line internet services in Q2, a 3% increase on the same period last year. The overwhelming majority (12.3 million, +2.5%) were B2C.
The telco had total revenues of R127,279 million (+13%) in Q2.
Its OIBDA was R48,800 million (+15%) and net income R7,731 million (+32%).
