The Ukrainian regulator National Council has approved the distribution of two Trace channels in the country.
In a statement, it says that Trace Sports Stars, which is operated by the UK company Trace UK World Ltd, and Trace Urban, operated by the French company Trace Global, have been deemed to meet the requirements of the European Convention on Transfrontier Television and Ukrainian regulation.
A total of 179 TV channels now meet these requirements.
Separately, the National Council has approved name changes of the channels MTV Hits, MTV Rocks and MTV Dance to MTV Hits International, MTV Rocks International and Club MTV. The channels are licensed by the Czech Television and Radio Broadcasting Council (RRTV).
