Canal + Polska recruits Anna Rozalska

July 22, 2020 11.13 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Anna Rozalska has been appointed the director of original productions and co-productions at Canal+ in Poland.

She replaces Anna Limbach-Uryn, who held the positions VP Kino Swiat and director of original productions.

In her new role, effective July 20, Rozalska will report to Malgorzata Seck, VP programming at Canal+. She will be responsible for the implementation of the programme strategy for Canal + Polska’s original productions and the overall supervision of the production process, including negotiating programming contracts and controlling the distribution of its own content. She will also responsible for the coordination of projects supporting the production of original content under the Canal + Series LAB programme and the acquisition and development of programme projects in cooperation with the Canal + Group (Vivendi SE) and M7 (part of the Canal + Group).

Commenting on the appointment, Seck said:” Close cooperation with creators is an absolute priority for us, because thanks to it, new quality productions and co-productions with the Canal + logo may appear on the Polish and global market. Our programming plans are invariably very ambitious and we can say straight out that we will continue to invest in content production. We are all the more pleased with another such strong strengthening in the Canal + ranks”.

Rozalska has worked as a film producer and talent manager for European filmmakers. She is a co-founder of the Match & Spark agency, established in 2015.

Meanwhile, Limbach-Uryn, VP of Kino Swiat, will continue to support Canal + Polska in the position of film distribution advisor to the management board.
