Gabriella Vacca has been appointed chief technology officer at Sky Italia.
Vacca, who joins from parent Comcast, will report directly to CEO, Maximo Ibarra. She’ll also have responsibility for Enterprise Technology, where she will report to Sky Group Chief Technology Officer to Mohamed Hammady.

Vacca graduated in engineering from the University of Turin and with an MBA from the Golden Gate University of San Francisco. She’s been at Comcast for ten years where she held the position of Vice President Enterprise Technology Solutions. Before joining Comcast, she worked for a number of start-ups and company’s including ESPN Mobile, Disney and AT&T.
