The value of the electronic communications market in Moldova amounted to around MDL1.5 billion (€76.95 million) in the first three months of this year.
According to data published by the regulator ANRCETI, this was 0.3% higher than in the same period in 2019.
Pay-TV revenues accounted for MDL46 million, up 10.9% on a year earlier, while mobile and fixed internet service revenues were MDL298.6 million (+8%) and MDL341.4 million (+2.4%) respectively.
Mobile telephony services had revenues of MDL746.4 million (+0.7%) and other mobile services MDL166 million (+19.9%), while fixed telephony revenues were MDL97.1 million (-17.6%).
The highest ARPU in Q1 was for fixed internet (MDL168.7).
In comparison, the pay-TV ARPU was MDL45.
