Maciej Lopinski remains interim TVP president

June 17, 2020 09.56 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The supervisory board of the Polish public broadcaster TVP has re-confirmed Maciej Lopinski as interim president.

Presserwis reports that following an absence of several days Lopinski has also returned to the board of TVP.

It adds that Lopinski was the interim president of TVP from March 10 and the position has be renewed every three months. As a result, he will now remain in post until September 16.

Jacek Kurski, who was president of TVP until earlier this year and recently joined the supervisory board with responsibility for programming, is expected to take over again as president at a future date.
