Antenna Hungária opts for Enensys solution

June 17, 2020 10.35 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Hungarian national transmission company Antenna Hungária has chosen Enensys Technologies’ SmartGate solution for its DVB-T and DVB-T2 network.

According to Enensys, its solution has the key advantage of enabling seamless switching between the main system and the backup system, creating a fully redundant, secure head-end.

Commenting on the development, Zsolt Arki, CTO at Antenna Hungária, said: “The Hungarian DTT networks operated by Antenna Hungária is being fully reconstructed this year and DVB-T2 technology will be introduced during the project. Antenna Hungária searched and selected best-in-class technology suppliers for its new network and based on the on the many year experience with Enensys Technologies, it was an easy decision to continue the cooperation with them”.

Laurent Le Dem, area sales manager for Enenys Technologies, added: “Antenna Hungária has partnered with Enenys Technologies for many years and we are very proud to support them again on this project.

“One of our main goals is to help our clients to provide viewers with the best quality experience and we have worked closely with the team at Antenna Hungária to guarantee a smooth transition to DVB-T2”.
