French streaming platform Molotov Solutions is to share its knowledge of the OTT environment with a new business services division.
The company says the success of its consumer platform in France has led to “numerous requests on how its done.
The result is Molotov Solutions, which plans to enable the creation and hosting of both linear and non-linear, free and paid platforms through functionality including SVOD, AVOD, DRM, subscription, algorithms, data collection and NPVR.
“After years of learning, development and operations on our consumer platform, Molotov has acquired solid know-how, widely acclaimed by users and professionals,” said JeanDavid Blanc, Molotov’s founder and president. “Molotov’s knowledge of the business and technological skills allow the company to position itself naturally as one of the leaders on the OTT B2B market, in France and internationally.”
The division will be headed by François Le Pichon who has been chief operating officer at Molotov Solutions.
Molotov holds patents and certifications from manufacturers and Big Techs including Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Apple, Google and Amazon.
