The Russian telco MTS has added five thematic channels from Red Media’s portfolio to all its platforms.
This follows an agreement between the two parties allowing for the distribution of all 29 Red Media channels.
As part of the updated agreement, rights are being expanded on some of the channels, namely HDL. Boks TV, Kinozhas, Malish TV and Match! Strana.
Separately, the Russian Premier League (RPL), Match TV and league clubs have agreed to show the remaining games of the season. The first round will take place on June 23 and it is planned to keep attendance of games to a minimum, namely less than 10% of the total number of seats in stadia.
To make the games more accessible to viewers, they will be broadcast on the federal (national) channel Match TV.
They will also be shown on Match Premier, though with additional features such as exclusive interviews.
